I'm really not enjoying this second season of "Stranger Things" Season 1 was scary enough. This season the writers of this comedy horror geopolitical satire have gone all in on the principal characters. I'm genuinely worried about the upcoming episode entitled "The Mid-Terms"
This old Boy Scout had no imagination, none, that my simple hope to be raking up this coming autumn's leaves in peace seems to be hanging on the Ukrainian military prevailing against OUR mafia boss's pal Putin; AND, the ability of the survivors of the 2,000-year-old Iranian regime making OUR guy look as feckless as he actually is AND leaving us estranged from our neighbors? And now HE'S done with this war? Well, this war's not done with him, and it's not done with us, either. We've shat in our nest. And I'm really sorry.
The slowest moving hurricane. Ever. Cat 5 at that. On the verge of a new category of hurricane even more so. However, much like the communities of the Gulf States and the coasts of Florida and the Appalachian areas like Asheville, we will come together as a they have time and time again to rebuild remembering what was and hoping for a better what will be.
Like the one he's excavating under the former East Wing. No need to wait for the 'project's' completion, for my part. A rubble strewn hole will suffice...
