I am at a point where I'm relating to a portrayal of a jaded Chicago Irish cop, who looks at his clean-shaven, college educated counterpart, pulls a Winchester Model 12 out of the cabinet to lead the squad on a liquor raid; and, says "You walk through this door now, you're walking into a world of trouble, and there's no turnin' back. Do you understand?", and racks a live round of OO into the chamber.
These goons are stealing everything, right down to hope AND reasonable expectations of decency. There ain't a Boy Scout among 'em. And they're not going to relent until we all starve them of our resources.
